Hello there, I'm Alexander Barrymore, and I've been navigating the world of photography for a solid 15 years. My journey began in the picturesque city of Geneva, where I delved into the art of photography. From there, life took me to some exciting places.

I had the incredible opportunity to work as a press photographer for Reuters International News Agency at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva. It was during this time that I had my first taste of globetrotting, collaborating with amazing organizations like Doctors Without Borders. I even had the honor of showcasing my work on children's issues at the UN. There was also an unforgettable exhibition of my portraits at Belle Idée Mental Health Hospital in Geneva, which later made its way to Paris.

In 2005, I decided to trade the serene Swiss Alps for the bustling streets of New York City. I dabbled in freelance photography there, learning from some remarkable photographers like Michel Comte. My photography adventures knew no bounds, taking me to Geneva and Paris, where I worked under the mentorship of photographer Adam Savitch who lent his lens to brands like Piaget and Chanel.

In Brooklyn, I set up my photography studio, where I ventured into the world of fashion photography. I had the pleasure of capturing the essence of both celebrity clients and collaborating with the incredible fashion designer Joseph Abboud.

Fast forward to 2012, and I was the lead photographer for the W Diamond Group, working with renowned brands like Hickey Freeman and Hart Schaffner Marx. Today, I'm still as passionate about photography as I was when I first picked up a camera. I'm fluent in both English and French and have mastered the intricacies of digital and traditional film development.

In 2015, I decided to make Charlotte, North Carolina, my new home, trading skyscrapers for Southern charm. During my time here, I've had the pleasure of collaborating extensively with the fantastic folks at Salt Paper Studio on numerous projects.

Photography is my way of capturing the beauty and significance in the world around us. I'm excited to continue this journey, and I'd love to be a part of your next project. Feel free to reach out—I'm here to make your moments memorable."
